Our Lake Michigan Trout & Salmon Fishing Charter Season begins in April and runs through September. We Charter Fish Lake Michigan for King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Skamania Steelhead, Lake Trout, and Brown Trout. I hope to enlighten you as to the Dynamics of the Seasonal, and Temperature Changes in Lake Michigan. How it affects our Fishing Charters and the Natural Migration of Trout & Salmon to the St. Joseph Michigan Harbor Area.

Great Numbers of Trout & Salmon are always within fishing proximity of the St. Joseph Michigan Harbor during our season. Some periods are better for certain Species than others. As you read through Month to Month I hope to give you a reasonable expectation of the Type of Trout & Salmon we will likely catch and How Many.

The other factor is the Attitude of Lake Michigan. Early in the Spring and late in the Fall the winds blow more often, and Lake Michigan can become Unfishable During the Summer as the waters warm and winds die off the lake is usually calm. As we go along I’ll give you an idea of the probability that the Sea will be Fishable Month to Month.

Lake Michigan Fishing Charter Customers should have a reasonable expectation of the Type of Trout & Salmon we’ll most likely catch How we’ll most likely set up the “Trout & Salmon Fishing Charter Program” based on anticipated conditions, and the probability that Lake Michigan will be Fishable.
